Plymouth Sharks
The Plymouth Sharks program is geared towards players looking to advance their skill sets by playing competitive baseball against the best New England AAU teams. The Sharks consistently produce high quality results with teams making the playoffs in consecutive seasons. We have had teams compete in the New England AAU Open Division and Super Division which provides the highest level of youth baseball in the region. Ultimately, we believe the kids should be having fun while they develop their skills by playing in a competitive environment.
What You Can Expect to Prepare for 2025
Preparations for the 2024 season gets underway this fall with regular workouts, clinics and possibly some AAU games in September and October. Beginning in January, we kick off our 10 week workout program which will be run by the professional instructors at 4 for 4 Player Acceleration in Plymouth. 4 for 4 Player Acceleration is the area’s leading baseball and softball instructional center. The professional instructors at 4 for 4 Player Acceleration have a proven track record of program success and player development. These workouts will focus on swing and pitching movements, fielding routines, proper footwork and learning situational baseball. These hands-on workouts along with strengthening drills performed at home over the winter will allow the players to perform at their best once the season gets underway.
2025 Season
Teams will play a 12 game AAU schedule with doubleheaders being held on Sunday’s starting in April. Sharks teams will hold outdoor practices and schedule scrimmages against other programs leading into and during the regular season to improve the players’ skills.
Sharks teams who qualify for playoffs in July will participate in this exciting and challenging environment testing themselves against the best as they compete for the New England AAU Championship.
Why Play for the Sharks?
The Plymouth Sharks baseball program has experienced success across all ages. While we teach all aspects of the game to our kids and compete to win, we believe that the kids should, most of all, have fun. Also, unlike other teams in our area, our AAU games are played on Sunday to avoid conflicts with town baseball leagues. Come and experience what it’s like to be a Shark!!
